It’s Fair November time here at the University of Guelph. For the next three days, local vendors, artisans and crafters are here showcasing their creations in hopes of selling out for Christmas shopping.
Myself, I love looking, gazing upon and marveling at all the amazing creative people in our community. Some are local and some are farther away but none the less creativity is not lacking in these artisans.
I came across a rather fun booth by business “Noggins” from Guelph. They make, you guessed it, hats. Not just any hats but hand made one-of-a-kind, no two are the same hats. They offer two distinctly different ‘classifications’ of hats; the wolly noggin or the re-noggin.
I feel in LOVE with a re-noggin.
Judy makes these out of recycled ‘anything’. Right on! I really love environmentally conscious business owners.
Here are Judy and Charlene, they are quite the funny pair.
Judy told me my that the hat I chose was actually a table cloth. I couldn’t imagine a table cloth as beautiful as my hat or as bright, but it is neat none the less. The details on these hats are beautiful, some have feathers, some little flowers, or some with buttons. Mine had buttons on it, a little details goes along way. Simple, chic and unique.
The care instructions are easy.
I’m quite happy with my new ‘noggin’.
